Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time Remote Financial Educator DC Licensed will consult with patients regarding their benefits and financial options, perform benefit verification, and provide ongoing financial education throughout the care continuum.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with patients regarding their benefits, coverage, and financial options
• Perform aspects of benefit verification and prior authorization
• Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating financial and insurance information

Required qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of medical business office experience with knowledge of healthcare billing and collections
• Experience reading and understanding payer remittance advice
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Experience in an OB/GYN office is a plus
• Proficient with Microsoft programs, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
