Financial Examiner

Job Summary

To support a growing consulting firm, the full-time Financial Examiner will assist the EIC on risk-focused statutory examinations, manage budgets and schedules, and communicate effectively with supervisors while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in supervising interns and perform assigned tasks efficiently using examination tools
• Provide regular status updates to supervisors and proactively identify and communicate potential issues
• Work within established budgets and timelines, offering solutions for any challenges that may arise

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, accounting, insurance, business administration, or economics
• Auditing experience at a CPA firm or insurance company (preferred)
• Prior insurance regulatory experience (preferred)
• Experience performing risk-focused examinations (preferred)
• Desire to obtain certifications such as Associate Financial Examiner (AFE) and Certified Financial Examiner (CFE)
