Financial Management Analyst

Job Summary

To support federal financial management and internal controls, the part-time hourly Financial Management Analyst I will analyze financial information, perform reconciliations and control testing, and document results, primarily working remotely with occasional onsite support in Washington, D.C.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of federal internal control assessments and OMB A-123 activities
• Perform financial analysis, reconciliations, and control testing, while documenting and organizing financial data and supporting evidence
• Assist in developing and maintaining internal control documentation, including process narratives and risk-control matrices

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience, with 4-6+ years preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
• Strong accounting and financial analysis skills
• Experience with financial management, internal controls, or audit support activities
• Knowledge of OMB Circular A-123 or similar internal control frameworks
