Financial Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Manager to oversee financial operations and provide guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and manage the agency's financial operations, ensuring compliance with federal laws and regulations
• Formulate, justify, present, and execute the agency's budget while advising leadership on financial planning
• Provide expert financial advisory services to senior leadership, analyzing financial data to support decision-making

Required Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or related field with 24 semester hours in accounting, or equivalent experience
• At least 4 years of experience in accounting or a combination of education and relevant experience
• Specialized experience at the GS-13 level or equivalent in budget preparation and financial policy interpretation
• Experience monitoring financial resources to ensure alignment with approved budgets
• Knowledge of financial management policies and internal controls
