Job Summary

To support a mission-driven non-profit, the part-time contract Financial Modeling and Grants Reporting specialist will create financial models, review business plans, and develop a zero-based budget while collaborating with the Treasurer and project team members remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Create financial models to project future revenues and expenses
• Review the existing business plan and recommend modifications based on current costs
• Develop a zero-based budget for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2027, using historical data

Required qualifications

• 2-Year Degree required
• Superior Excel spreadsheet skills
• Experience creating and interpreting multi-year budgets and financial forecasts
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Strong communication skills to convey information clearly to diverse audiences
