Financial Operations Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Operations Specialist to manage program finances and budgets in a DoD environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and forecast budgets, monitor burn rates, and manage funding documents
• Align resources to mission priorities across appropriations and funding vehicles
• Produce financial briefs and dashboards for senior military leadership

Required Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance
• Minimum of 5 years of financial management or operations experience in DoD programs
• Experience managing DoD appropriations and associated color-of-money rules
• Hands-on experience with DoD financial systems like GFEBS, DAI, or equivalent
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong skills in PowerPoint and Word
