Financial Planning Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting financial planning and operational excellence initiatives, the full-time salaried Financial Planning Analyst will compile and analyze financial data, create reporting packages, and assist in long-term forecasting while working remotely within the United States.

Key responsibilities:

• Compile and analyze financial information to prepare operating and financial reports, summaries, and business plans
• Create reporting packages summarizing key metrics, trends, and insights to support corporate decision-making
• Perform monthly reforecasting and variance analysis, including tracking KPIs and profitability metrics

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field is required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Proficiency in advanced Excel, including pivot tables, Power Query, and VBA/macros
• Demonstrated ability to apply finance principles in real-world scenarios
• Familiarity with GAAP and financial concepts related to budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Interest or experience in BI tools such as Power BI, SQL, or Databricks for financial insights
