Financial Planning Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the FP&A team in a hybrid role, the Financial Planning Analyst will manage month-end close processes, budget-to-actual reporting, and corporate operating model maintenance while collaborating with various departments to enhance financial decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Accounting to prepare accruals and review budget results while writing variance commentary
• Own budget-to-actual reporting for assigned cost centers and support annual budget and rolling forecast processes
• Prepare recurring reports for equity investors and senior leadership, delivering ad hoc analysis on short timelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field
• 2-4 years of experience in corporate FP&A, investment banking, or a comparable analytical finance role
• Demonstrated experience in three-statement modeling and long-range forecasting
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience querying data using SQL or equivalent
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI and planning platforms like Workday Adaptive Planning or Anaplan
