Financial Planning Analyst
Job Summary
To support a growing SaaS scale-up, the full-time Financial Planning Analyst will manage financial analysis, reporting, and ad hoc projects while working in a hybrid environment closely with the CFO and senior leadership in the Boston area.
Key responsibilities
- Support the CFO and Head of FP&A on financial analysis and reporting that informs business decisions
- Maintain and enhance financial models, dashboards, and internal reports to provide accurate insights to leadership
- Organize and analyze large datasets using Excel and Google Sheets, turning raw data into actionable insights
Required qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, or Business
- 2-3 years of experience in a similar role within a SaaS or subscription-based technology company
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets, with experience in formulas, pivot tables, and lookups
- Detail-oriented and analytical, committed to accuracy in financial reporting
- Based in or near Boston and interested in SaaS, technology, startups, or subscription business models
