Financial Planning Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budget creation process and produce monthly financial reports
• Serve as a financial advisor to school leaders, providing analysis and guidance
• Prepare compliance reports and manage government grant applications and budgets

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 3 years in financial planning or analysis
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field required; MBA or CPA is a plus
• Experience with charter school finance and New York State/City education funding mechanisms is a plus
• Experience managing government grants including budgets and compliance is a plus
