Job Summary
Supporting grants management and financial forecasting in a remote full-time capacity, the Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist will manage grant budgets, assist in budget administration, and coordinate financial operations across multiple entities.
Key responsibilities
- Support all NDWA grant budgets and reports, ensuring compliance and high-quality data management
- Assist with quarterly forecasts and budget variance analysis to support strategic planning
- Coordinate financial operations between NDWA and Care in Action, ensuring compliance with financial regulations
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- 1-2 years of nonprofit financial management experience, particularly with grant management
- Working knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit audit requirements
- Proficiency in Excel, Financial Edge, Salesforce, and Google Workspace
- Alignment with the mission and values of NDWA and Care in Action, particularly regarding low-wage workers and immigrant communities
