Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in the statutory accounting close cycle, including preparing journal entries and reconciliations
Research and document accounting issues
Prepare new or updated accounting analyses and policies

Required Qualifications:

BA/BS in Accounting or related field
2 years of work-related experience
CPA or CMA certification is a plus
Technical accounting knowledge, specifically in statutory accounting and reporting
Experience in the insurance industry is a plus
