Financial Reporting Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly cash reconciliations to ensure accuracy between internal records and bank statements
• Monitor and track discrepancies in cash flow, investigating and resolving any variances promptly
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing processes, ensuring proper execution of transactions and reconciliations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; BA/BS in Accounting or related field preferred
• Relevant work experience in accounting and finance; cash reconciliation experience is a plus
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel required; experience with Lawson, Hyperion, Cadency is a plus
• Demonstrates strong ownership over tasks, ensuring timely and accurate completion of deliverables
• Curious and eager to learn, with a focus on improving cash reconciliation and financial reporting processes
