A company is looking for a Financial Reporting Director to lead its financial reporting function remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams responsible for financial reporting and internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Maintain relationships with regulators, external auditors, and internal business partners
• Review and direct the preparation of statutory and GAAP financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to principles

Required Qualifications

• Expert understanding of statutory and GAAP accounting guidance and financial operations
• 8+ years of financial reporting experience at an insurance company or public accounting firm
• Professional certification such as CPA or equivalent
• Experience in establishing relationships with regulators or external auditors
• Able to work remotely with access to high-speed internet in the U.S. or Puerto Rico
