Financial Research Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a full-time basis, the Financial Research Analyst will manage the review and coding of hospital and physician charges, interpret research coverage analyses, and collaborate with clinical research teams to ensure compliant billing practices.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct accurate and timely reviews of hospital and physician charges in Medipac and EPIC
• Interpret research coverage analysis during the charge review process and apply appropriate coding
• Audit patient and institutional accounts to ensure compliance with billing regulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or related field preferred; an associate's degree with relevant experience may be considered
• At least one year of experience in research or compliance administration preferred
• Understanding of third-party, regulatory, and compliance guidelines related to healthcare
• Proficiency with computers and database software
• Strong financial skills and familiarity with clinical terminology
