Financial Risk Oversight Director

Job Summary

Leading the global financial risk oversight efforts, the full-time salaried Global Head of Financial Risk Oversight will direct the identification and management of various financial risks while working in a hybrid environment, requiring four days onsite in Greenwich, CT and one day remote.

Key responsibilities

• Direct the measurement and management of credit, liquidity, market, and capital risks across multiple legal entities
• Conduct advanced stress testing and scenario simulations to analyze risks under extreme market conditions
• Lead specialized teams in executing multi-jurisdictional risk initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks

Required qualifications

• Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Three years of experience in a risk management position within a securities brokerage firm
• Expertise in U.S. financial markets regulations and international exchange rules
• Experience in conducting risk analysis in credit, liquidity, market, and capital risk areas
• Proficiency in developing Python scripts and Power BI dashboards for data analysis and modeling
