Financial Solutions Advisor

Job Summary

To support learners in their educational journey, the full-time Financial Solutions Advisor will provide guidance on funding options, including federal aid, military benefits, and self-pay plans, while working remotely in a high-energy, data-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with learners to develop personalized funding plans and navigate the financial aid application process
• Educate learners on available financial resources and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Title IV regulations and scholarship opportunities
• Engage with learners through various communication channels, ensuring accurate documentation of interactions and adherence to departmental metrics

Required qualifications

• An earned bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of relevant work experience in financial aid or a related field
• Strong understanding of federal student aid programs and the FAFSA process
• Experience in a high-volume customer service environment, preferably in financial services or higher education
• Ability to work evening and weekend hours as needed
• Must meet access requirements for secure federal and/or state websites, including not being in default on federal student loans
