Job Summary

Supporting the Vice Dean of Research and Graduate Studies, the full-time remote Financial Specialist will oversee budget preparation, financial analysis, and compliance oversight for approximately $31M in annual operating expenditures across multiple departments within the College of Medicine.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage ledger and clearing accounts, ensuring compliance with University policies while resolving complex financial issues
  • Compile and analyze financial data for forecasting and executive reporting, preparing dashboards and presentations for leadership
  • Coordinate financial reporting and operational support activities related to core facilities and graduate education operations
Required qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong financial management and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
  • Proficiency in providing project funding analysis and financial guidance to stakeholders
