Financial Systems Assurance Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking a Financial Systems Controls & Assurance Analyst, the full-time position will focus on designing, implementing, and improving SOX-ready controls and assurance processes across financial systems, while working in a hybrid environment from Columbia, MO.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and enhance scalable controls and assurance processes across financial systems and workflows
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to execute controls supporting financial reporting and operational readiness
• Evaluate system changes to identify control impacts and support audit readiness through documentation and process improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• At least 3 years of experience in SOX compliance, IT controls, or related assurance work
• Strong understanding of SOX, ITGCs, and application controls
• Experience using SQL for data analysis and control validation activities
• Demonstrated ability to identify control gaps and drive remediation efforts
