Financial Systems Assurance Analyst

Job Summary

To support the growth of financial operations, the full-time remote Financial Systems Controls & Assurance Analyst will design, implement, and enhance scalable SOX-ready controls and assurance processes across financial systems while collaborating with various stakeholders to improve audit readiness and control reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and improve scalable controls and assurance processes across financial systems and SOX-relevant business processes
• Partner with cross-functional teams to enhance controls supporting financial reporting, including ITGCs and application controls
• Evaluate system changes to identify control impacts and support operational readiness before go-live

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• At least 3 years of experience in SOX compliance, IT controls, internal or external audit, or related assurance work
• Strong understanding of SOX, ITGCs, and application controls
• At least 2 years of experience using SQL for data analysis and control validation activities
• Demonstrated ability to identify control gaps and implement process improvements
