Financial Systems Engineer

Job Summary

To support a growing team, the full-time remote Financial Systems Engineer will develop custom solutions, integrate various systems, and serve as a technical subject matter expert on third-party platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop tooling that accelerates team productivity and addresses both technical and non-technical problems
• Own solutions end-to-end while balancing the desire to ship code with the responsibility to ensure quality
• Design and implement scalable applications and APIs using relevant programming languages such as Python and Typescript

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• At least 3+ years of relevant development experience building production-grade solutions
• Demonstrated expertise in multiple programming languages relevant to financial systems development (e.g., Python, SQL, Java, C++)
• Experience with software development methodologies, version control systems, and testing frameworks
• Familiarity with launching solutions using public cloud service platforms, especially AWS
