Financial Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time remote Financial Systems Engineer, the successful candidate will develop custom solutions, integrate various systems, and serve as a technical subject matter expert while supporting and mentoring team members.

Key responsibilities

• Develop tooling to enhance team efficiency and solve technical and non-technical problems affecting systems
• Own end-to-end solutions, balancing the need for timely delivery with quality assurance
• Design and implement scalable applications and APIs using relevant programming languages

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• At least 3+ years of relevant development experience in building production-grade solutions
• Demonstrated expertise in multiple programming languages relevant to financial systems development (e.g., Python, SQL, Java, C++)
• Experience with software development methodologies, version control systems, and testing frameworks
• Familiarity with public cloud service platforms, particularly AWS
