Financial Systems Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time salaried position, the Financial Systems Engineer will develop custom solutions and integrate various business applications while serving as a technical subject matter expert on third-party platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop tooling to enhance team productivity and solve both technical and non-technical problems
• Own solutions end-to-end, balancing the need for timely delivery with the responsibility for quality
• Design and implement scalable applications and APIs using relevant programming languages

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
• At least 3+ years of relevant development experience building production-grade solutions
• Demonstrated expertise in multiple programming languages relevant to financial systems development (e.g., Python, SQL, Java, C++)
• Experience with software development methodologies, version control systems, and testing frameworks
• Familiarity with launching solutions using public cloud service platforms, especially AWS
