FinOps Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff FinOps Engineer to support their Product, Engineering, and Finance teams in managing cloud infrastructure expenses.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to DevOps and Engineering teams in developing cost models for new products and services
• Partner with Product teams and Finance to create and manage hosting expense budgets and forecasts
• Analyze and report on key trends in COGS expense and provide detailed monthly reporting on cloud infrastructure spend

Required Qualifications

• 3 or more years in Product FinOps in a SaaS organization
• Experience with Excel, SQL, AWS Cost Explorer, and BI reporting
• Familiarity with FinOps and TBM frameworks, practices, and disciplines
• Experience working with FP&A and a basic understanding of GAAP accounting principles
• FinOps Certified Practitioner (FOCP) and/or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
