FinOps Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a FinOps Analyst to manage purchasing and operating expense processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the Finance point of contact for expense management tools, ensuring efficient request flow
• Partner with Accounting for month-end close activities and variance reporting
• Develop reporting packages and spend analytics to support financial decision-making

Qualifications

• 3-6+ years of experience in FP&A, FinOps, or Accounting with a focus on expense workflows
• Proficiency in SQL, BI tools, and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; familiarity with NetSuite or Salesforce is preferred
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines
• Strong analytical skills in variance analysis, forecasting, and KPI design
• Proactive mindset focused on problem-solving and automation
