Job Summary

A company is looking for a FinOps Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Drive cost optimization initiatives and build systems for cost-aware engineering
Partner with Finance to explain cost variances and maintain clean cost allocation
Foster a culture of efficiency by enabling engineers to make informed decisions regarding costs

Required Qualifications

Previous experience in FinOps, cloud cost management, or cloud governance
Deep understanding of cloud services, particularly AWS and GCP
Expertise in Kubernetes cost allocation
Ability to communicate technical insights to both engineering and finance teams
Experience with CI/CD and its impact on cost management
