FinOps Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a FinOps Specialist to connect technical capabilities with strategic financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and re-engineer cloud-native operations across AWS and GCP to drive efficiency improvements
• Develop sophisticated metrics for ML-driven forecasting models and design procedural frameworks for AI tools
• Provide subject matter expertise to enterprise-wide initiatives, transforming cloud data into operational excellence

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in defining, designing, and implementing solutions for business outcomes in public cloud environments
• 1+ year of experience analyzing or operating software systems in AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Six Sigma certification is highly desirable
• Proficient in data analysis and planning tools, including dbt, Lightdash, Adaptive Planning, Google Sheets, and Excel
