FINRA Series 99 Payments Director

Job Summary

Leading the end-to-end Payments function, the full-time remote FINRA Series 99 Payments Director will manage payment operations, oversee compliance, and drive operational excellence while collaborating with various teams to enhance customer experience and reduce payment exceptions.

Key responsibilities

• Owns daily execution and oversight of shareholder and closing-day payment operations, ensuring adherence to governance and SLAs
• Leads and develops the Payments leadership team, providing coaching and ensuring appropriate staffing and training
• Establishes and monitors operational controls for payment instruction validation, fraud prevention, and documentation retention

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or operations (or equivalent experience) required
• FINRA-licensed Series 99 Operations Professional
• 5+ years of experience in banking, financial services, payments, or transaction operations
• 3+ years of people management experience, preferably managing managers and multi-workstream teams
• Demonstrated expertise in payment operations, reconciliations, and exception management
