FIPS Certification Engineer
Job Summary
Supporting certification and compliance efforts for networking and security products, the FIPS Certification Engineer will work remotely on a long-term contract basis, assisting with FIPS 140-3 compliance, testing, and documentation while collaborating with engineering teams.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with testing, validation activities, and compliance assessments for FIPS 140-3 certification
- Collect and maintain certification documentation and compliance deliverables
- Execute compliance test procedures, document results, and track remediation activities
Required qualifications:
- 0-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, software engineering, or a related technical field
- Familiarity with FIPS 140-3, NIST SP 800 Series, or other security certification frameworks
- Understanding of secure software development principles and cybersecurity concepts
- Experience with Linux operating systems and command-line tools
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical discipline
