Fire Alarm Engineer

Job Summary

To design innovative data center solutions, the contract Fire Alarm Engineer will provide technical design leadership for life safety systems, including fire alarms and smoke control, while working remotely from Boston, Massachusetts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical design leadership for data center life safety systems
• Lead the design process from preliminary assessments to 2D/3D modeling and specifications
• Interface with clients and local code officials to ensure code compliance and effective fire mitigation solutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Experience in fire protection and life safety systems
• Proficiency in BIM and REVIT software
• Experience with modeling and technical design
• Ability to manage concurrent projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
