Fire and Casualty Broker Team Lead
Job Summary
Managing complex claims for medium to large clients, the full-time Claims Advocate Team Lead will oversee claims status, partner with legal counsel, and provide policy interpretation while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage claims status and coordinate with brokers, clients, and adjusters to facilitate the claims process
- Prepare coverage arguments and analyze loss valuations to advocate for clients
- Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for claims management and coverage reviews
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ten (10) or more years of related work experience in brokerage or carrier environments
- Valid Fire and Casualty Broker - Agent license required
- In-depth knowledge of property and casualty insurance coverage and risk management concepts
- Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) or equivalent certifications preferred
