Fire Data Coordinator

Job Summary

Supporting NFPA's research initiatives, the fully remote Fire Data Coordinator will collect, maintain, and modernize critical fire incident data, improve database systems, and develop efficient data management processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct independent research to identify and validate fire incident data nationwide
• Maintain data integrity and oversee the conversion of manual processes into efficient digital workflows
• Create and maintain data visualizations and reports to support research initiatives

Required qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in data management/entry and relational databases
• Ability to perform basic to intermediate SQL queries
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Power BI
• Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
• Strong organizational and time management skills
