Fire Protection Designer

Job Summary

Collaborating within a team, the full-time Fire Protection Designer will take design and construction projects from concept to completion, focusing on designing building systems, performing engineering calculations, and producing construction documents while working remotely from any location in the US.

Key responsibilities

• Design building systems and perform engineering calculations for fire protection projects
• Produce construction documents and prepare technical documentation for project implementation
• Coordinate work across an integrated team of designers, architects, and engineers

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering field or equivalent work experience
• Experience designing fire protection and fire alarm systems with knowledge of relevant codes
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
• Experience with projects in restaurant, grocery, retail, healthcare, or similar sectors
