Fire Protection Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fire Protection Engineer to assist clients in developing energy infrastructure, particularly battery energy storage systems (BESS).

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain client relationships while delivering high-quality work products
• Ensure compliance with fire safety standards by reviewing design specifications and conducting risk analyses
• Design and implement fire suppression and detection systems, and coordinate with authorities and stakeholders for project approvals

Required Qualifications

• Background in fire protection or mechanical engineering
• Extensive expertise in energy and BESS technologies
• Experience conducting safety assessments and hazard analyses
• Familiarity with computational fluid dynamics (CFD) modeling
• Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards (e.g., NFPA 855, UL 9540)
