Fire Protection Engineer

Job Summary

To support fire safety initiatives, the contract Fire Protection Engineer will develop and review fire protection system designs, collaborate with project teams, and conduct site inspections while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and review fire protection systems designs for code compliance
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate fire safety into building plans
• Conduct site inspections and prepare technical documentation related to fire protection engineering

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of fire safety codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IFC)
• Previous experience in fire protection system design and assessment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
