Firewall Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Firewall Security Engineer to support enterprise firewall security operations and incident response in cloud and on-premise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining enterprise firewall platforms, including Palo Alto and Check Point
• Reviewing and remediating overly permissive firewall rules
• Assisting with incident response and monitoring firewall activity using Splunk

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Network Security and/or Firewall Engineering
• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or equivalent
• Experience with Palo Alto and Check Point firewalls
• Experience with Firewall policies and remediation
• Familiarity with Splunk for security analysis
