Firmware Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Firmware Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain firmware and software in accordance with quality management systems
• Execute all phases of firmware development, including requirements capture, design, testing, and debugging
• Develop automated tests and production software tools for mass production

Required Qualifications

• BS in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience with a BS degree or 3+ years with an MS degree in developing real-time embedded firmware in C
• Ability to read and follow electrical schematics
• Knowledge of embedded systems architecture and real-time operating systems (RTOS)
• Proficiency with tools like Git/JIRA and scripting languages such as Python
