Firmware Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of innovative IoT sensor devices, the full-time remote Firmware Engineer will design, implement, and optimize firmware for MEMS-based components while collaborating with product teams to enhance performance metrics and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Break down system and product requirements into firmware designs for ARC product lines
• Define and characterize performance metrics for sensor components in collaboration with the product team
• Develop and execute automated and manual testing procedures, supporting debugging and issue resolution

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or a related field
• Experience with hardware or firmware development, specifically in C programming
• Familiarity with electronic sensing technologies such as accelerometers and gyroscopes
• Proficiency in communication protocols like SPI, I2C, and UART
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
