Firmware Engineer (Android)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Firmware Engineer (Android).

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, develop, and customize the AOSP platform for various Android versions
• Modify, optimize, and maintain Android system components and develop Android APKs
• Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to integrate and optimize peripherals

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of firmware development experience with a strong foundation in embedded systems
• Extensive hands-on experience in AOSP development for Android 6, 10, and 13+
• Strong expertise in C/C++ and Java for system-level development
• Experience with chipset platforms and working with ODMs and chipset vendors
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, and Makefiles for automation and build scripting
