Firmware Engineer II
Job Summary
Seeking a full-time Firmware Engineer II, this position will focus on real-time embedded system software design and development for complex machines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product security and performance.
Key responsibilities:
- Design and develop embedded software components, including coding, testing, and debugging
- Participate in design and code reviews, hardware/software integration, and development testing
- Resolve product issues through evaluation, code modifications, and coordination with support teams
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical degree
- 3+ years of experience with embedded software, hardware, and/or firmware in a product development environment
- 2+ years of experience with C++ and/or C in an embedded development environment
- Experience with VxWorks, Zephyr, embedded Linux, or other embedded real-time operating systems
- Familiarity with revision control systems, such as Git or Subversion
