Job Summary
Providing program and biological support for interagency consultations, the full-time Fisheries Biologist Technical Lead will manage tasks related to ESA, MSA, FWCA, MMPA, and NEPA assessments while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee operational tasks and projects assigned by Government personnel, ensuring adherence to protocols
- Review and analyze scientific data to assess environmental impacts on biological resources and aquatic habitats
- Prepare and revise environmental documentation, including ESA Biological Opinions and NEPA documentation
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with six years of experience or Master's degree with two years of experience in a related field
- Knowledge of salmonid life cycles and habitat requirements
- Experience with ESA and MSA regulations and document preparation
- Proficiency in common software applications, including MS Office and Google Workplace
- Experience working with diverse interagency teams and tribal governments
