Fishery Resources Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Fishery Resources Specialist.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical inputs for the implementation of the GFCM 2030 Strategy for sustainable fisheries
• Coordinate projects supporting fisheries management and capacity development initiatives
• Assess and monitor environmental, economic, and social aspects of aquaculture in line with GFCM strategies

Required Qualifications

• Advanced University degree in natural, marine biology, social sciences, or related fields; or a bachelor's degree with two additional years of relevant experience
• At least one year of relevant experience in fisheries research, sustainable aquaculture, or related fields
• Working knowledge of English (level C)
• Experience in more than one location or area of work, preferably in the Mediterranean and/or Black Sea region
• Proficiency in using Excel and the MS Office package
