FISMA/FedRAMP Senior Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a FISMA/FedRAMP Senior Consultant.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead assessments from initiation to project closure, including planning, process walkthroughs, and status updates
• Coach team members and facilitate client working sessions to align expectations and timelines
• Execute security assessments and develop Security Authorization Packages in compliance with FedRAMP and NIST guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in management information systems, information security, computer science, or a relevant discipline; Master's degree is a plus
• At least 3 years of experience in information security with strong knowledge of NIST standards and federal compliance
• Experience leading at least five FedRAMP or FISMA engagements from kick-off to report delivery
• At least one advanced cybersecurity certification (e.g., CISSP, CISM) and one vendor-specific cloud-related certification preferred
• Experience with commercial cloud environments and architectures
