FIX Connectivity Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a FIX Connectivity Engineer/Developer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a FIX solution for FX price distribution, requiring backend Java development experience
• Monitor and troubleshoot real-time message flow, analyzing FIX logs and resolving connectivity incidents
• Develop low-latency trading systems and ensure scalability while collaborating with project teams and vendors

Required Qualifications

• Deep understanding of FIX protocol (versions 4.2 - 5.0)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Java or C++
• Experience with SQL on DBMS like Oracle or SQL Server
• Strong understanding of FX market structure, pricing, and order management
• Familiarity with network protocols such as TCP/IP and messaging protocols like AMQP or MQTT
