Fixed Asset Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting the financial management of capital projects, the full-time remote Fixed Asset Analyst will manage fixed asset and construction accounting processes from project setup through asset capitalization, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the fixed asset and Construction in Progress (CIP) process from capital project setup through project closure and asset capitalization
• Review construction project activity to ensure proper coding, capitalization treatment, and financial accuracy in accordance with company policy and GAAP
• Prepare month-end journal entries, supporting schedules, and reconciliations related to fixed assets, depreciation, inventory, and capital expenditures

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; CPA preferred
• 4+ years of fixed asset, project accounting, or related accounting experience
• Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting, capitalization policies, GAAP, and month-end close processes
• Experience with NetSuite, including the Fixed Asset module, strongly preferred
• Ability to manage responsibilities independently while collaborating across departments
