Job Summary
Serving as the day-to-day vehicle upfit and dealership purchasing contact, the full-time remote Fleet Operations Buyer will manage vehicle procurement, upfit design, and delivery operations while ensuring cost-effective solutions that meet operational requirements and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with upfit vendors and internal departments to coordinate vehicle customization and equipment installations
- Coordinating with manufacturers on direct vehicle orders, managing specifications, delivery schedules, and order modifications
- Arranging logistics for vehicle delivery, including freight carriers and specialized transport coordination
Required Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in fleet management company purchasing and vehicle upfit
- Strong expertise in upfit specifications and fitment guidelines
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
- Preferred Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree
- Industry experience in transportation, leasing, automotive, or fleet applications is preferred
