Flight Controls Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Flight Controls and Modeling Engineer in the Defense sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create simulation tools for development and testing of aircraft systems
• Participate in flight test and analysis to validate aircraft dynamics and modeling
• Integrate and tune automatic flight controls for various aircraft

Required Qualifications:

• BS in Aerospace/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in aircraft simulations and flight control systems
• Experience in Model Based Development and certification of flight control systems
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink or another model-based development toolset
• Experience developing certified software under RTCA DO-178
