Flight Research Airworthiness Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Flight Research Airworthiness Strategy & Standards Lead.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of airworthiness and regulatory strategies for flight research programs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align research objectives with regulatory frameworks
• Represent the company in industry standards bodies and regulatory agencies to influence future aviation standards

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aviation, or a related technical field
• 12+ years of relevant industry experience in airworthiness, certification strategy, or experimental flight research
• Experience contributing to or leading initiatives within aviation standards organizations
• Expertise in experimental airworthiness procedures and flight testing regulations
• Ability to build consensus across multidisciplinary teams and communicate with leadership and regulatory authorities
