Flight Software Developer

Job Summary

To support the Orion MPCV Spacecraft docking software development, the full-time Flight Software Developer will work remotely, collaborating with a team of engineers to verify flight code, create test cases in Python, and incorporate lessons learned from prior missions.

Key responsibilities

• Verify flight requirements through final run for record in collaboration with NASA and Lockheed engineers
• Create and execute Python-based test cases to ensure success criteria are met
• Review existing GNCP verification tests, identify issues, and implement corrections

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, aerospace, or a related engineering field
• 2 or more years of relevant experience, including previous software verification experience
• High level of proficiency in Python, specifically for software testing
• Knowledgeable in Linux and Matlab environments
• U.S. citizenship required due to facility security requirements
