Flight Software Engineer

Job Summary

Contributing to the development of spacecraft flight software, the full-time contract Flight Software Engineer will upgrade existing flight software, develop new satellite software, and engage in systems modeling while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Upgrade existing flight software and develop new satellite flight software for customer platforms
• Develop in-house tools for analyzing flight software performance and execute tests at various levels
• Contribute to systems modeling and support proposal writing and new business initiatives

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM or related scientific areas; Master's preferred
• A minimum of 8 years of experience with a bachelor's degree, or 6 years with a master's degree in aerospace hardware/software systems
• Proficiency in C/C++ and experience in embedded software development
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and a strong desire to learn
• US Citizenship is required
